The Protool Plastics Group (Manchester) are delighted to have won a significant injection moulding contract to supply Filter Housings to a major World renowned OEM.

Tooling was manufactured in the UK, uses direct feed Husky hot runner technology and runs in a new Negri Bossi injection moulding machine.

The tool was designed with significant cooling channels to ensure cycle time expectations were met.

Tooling was completed in 12 weeks and full ISIR & PPAP documentation supplied from T2 trials.

This is great news for the Manchester site and is the first of many announcements to come in the next few months.
