Protool Plastics Group Expansion 2020 STAGE THREE

Despite the current global uncertainty The Protool Plastics Group is pushing forward with our multiple stage expansion planned for 2020.

July 2020 will see the addition of an extra manufacturing unit on Mills Hills Road, Middleton, Manchester giving a complete courtyard of five adjoining units.

Group Managing Director Michael Hadfield confirmed the news today.

“The whole team are very excited by the addition of Unit 10 and looking forward to incorporating new business and additional assembly projects. We have new technical staff starting in July ready for another ‘reshoring’ moulding and assembly project starting in August. The hard work of the teams in Fareham and Manchester has ensured that the company has continued to see growth through the turbulent start to 2020”.

The additional floor space will allow The Protool Plastics Group to change the factory layout and significantly increase the assembly area alongside creating space for an extra five injection moulding machines.

This is STAGE THREE of an ambitious expansion plan over the group during 2020 with more announcements to come later in the year.
