THE PROTOOL PLASTICS GROUP COVID 19 WEEK 16 – 317,500 FILTER HOUSING ASSEMBLIES, LIGHTING FOR NIGHTINGALE HOSPITALS, 1,400 FORCED AIR RESPIRATORS, 3,150 MASKS, 52,230 DEMAND VALVES & FITTINGS.

The main purpose of these weekly updates is to show my colleagues how their efforts, during difficult times, is appreciated and they are posted in the factories for all to read.

The dedication of teams on both sites is fantastic with many staff working significantly increased hours with many covering weekends to increase volumes.

This week we have ramped up production on a thick wall TPU forced air respirator which, due to significantly long cycle times, has involved our Fareham facility to work 24/7.

In addition to last weeks massive output of breathing equipment and filters we are really proud to have seen our moulded parts installed in the new Nightingale Hospitals across the country.
