On the back of winning the contract to mould a Medical Clamping System our Fareham site will be moulding and assembling parts 7 days per week.

This will result in the creation of 3 new operator jobs during March 2010.

Due to increased order book for tooling from our Chinese facility Protool Manufacturing Havant have announced the appointment of Andy Hogg as project manager.

Andy will work out of Leicester, ideally situated for the motorway network and will devide his time between the UK and China.

The addition of a Negri Bossi 150 tonne machine will increase our production capacity at this range to over 240 hours per week.

Maximum shot weight of 440 grams.

The addition of a Faro Arm Co-oridinate measuring system is now paying dividends with faster response times on ISIR requirements.

This also allows us to complete automotive PPAP and medical validations on site and in much reduced timescales.

The Faro Arm runs with market leading Delcam software.

New Johnford machining centre at Protool (Havant) is aimed at further leadtime reduction, bringing products to market faster.

Due to continued growth during 2011 the Board of Directors at Protool Plastic Components have invested in an Engel 300T Victory moulding machine with fully automated robot.
